Man accused of holding woman in cinder block cell lived in Bay Area (KRON) -- A man who is accused of kidnapping a woman and holding her in a cinder block cell in Klamath Falls, Oregon, previously lived in the Bay Area, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Negasi Zuberi lived in Oakland for six years between October of 2012 and March of 2018.Zuberi, 29, also lived in Antioch from between November of 2019 and February of 2021, and Vacaville from between November of 2017 and February of 2019. SJPD: 2 men stormed into San Jose poker game, stole $30,000 (KRON) -- Two men who allegedly stormed into a high-stakes San Jose poker game, held the card players up at gunpoint, and stole $30,000 in cash have been arrested.The arrested men were identified by the San Jose Police Department as Nicholas Boyd, 39, and Anhkhao Ledo, 39, both from San Jose. The duo was booked into jail on charges of robbery, kidnapping, and assault with a deadly weapon. The poker heist happened on May 4 inside a house on Ambrose Court, police said."Over 10 victims were inside of the residence playing poker, when two armed masked suspects smashed the rear sliding door and entered the residence.
