A new study suggests that depression after traumatic brain injury may not be the same as depression related to other causes, according to researchers from Brigham and Women’s Hospital.The study of 273 people found that brain circuits associated with depression were different between people with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and those without TBI.“Our findings help explain how the physical trauma to specific brain circuits can lead to development of depression,” said study leader Shan Siddiqi, of the Brigham’s Department of Psychiatry and Center for Brain Circuit Therapeutics.“If we’re right, it means that we should be treating depression after TBI like a distinct disease,” Siddiqi added. “Many clinicians have suspected that this is a clinically distinct disorder with a unique pattern of symptoms and unique treatment response, including poor response to conventional antidepressants — but until now, we didn’t have clear physiological evidence to prove this.”The study included 273 adult...Chipotle’s Pizzeria Locale closing all locations, dissolving the business

RICHMOND — Investigators have identified a suspect and secured an arrest warrant for a driver they believe fatally hit a bicyclist last week on Richmond Parkway, police said.Authorities identified the bicyclist as 60-year-old David Sexton, of San Francisco. He was dead when officers arrived to the Richmond Parkway at Goodrick Avenue about 10 p.m. July 1.Richmond police spokesperson Sgt. Donald Patchin said the vehicle that hit the bicyclist kept going after the collision. New York — The Federal Aviation Administration has certified for testing a vehicle that a San Mateo, California startup describes as a flying car — the first fully electric vehicle that can both fly and travel on roads to receive US government approval.Alef Automotive said that its vehicle/aircraft, dubbed the “Model A,” is the first flying vehicle that is drivable on public roads and able to park like a normal car. (KRON) -- A 31-year-old San Rafael man who was already on parole was arrested last week in connection to a daytime shooting in downtown San Rafael, the San Rafael Police Department said. Marco Antonio Gramajo was arrested on Thursday, June 29 at his home on the 100 block of Andersen Drive in San Rafael.The arrest stemmed from incidents that began around 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 24.
