DUPAGE COUNTY, Ill. — At least 20 people were shot, one fatally, early Sunday morning during a celebration for Juneteenth in unincorporated Willowbrook Township, according to the DuPage County Sheriff's Office.A group of people were peacefully gathering around 12:30 a.m. near Route 83 and Honeysuckle Rose Lane when shots were fired. (KOIN) -- Two people are dead after shots rang out near the Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington while an electronic dance music festival was in progress, the Grant County Sheriff's Office has confirmed.Three people were also wounded in the shooting at a nearby campground, not the concert venue, Grant County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Kyle Forman said during a Saturday night press conference. One of those wounded was the suspected shooter, he said.Forman said the suspected shooter opened fire at the campground shortly before 8:30 p.m. before walking away toward the crowd of festival-goers "several hundred yards away." PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) – The Parma Heights Police Department is investigating the death of a 68-year-old woman who was run over by an ambulance.According to a press release from police, officers and paramedics responded to an apartment in the Cleveland suburb Saturday at around 9 p.m.Police say a neighbor called to request someone check on the 68-year-old woman.Though authorities spoke to the woman, police say she refused treatment. A fatal crash forced authorities to close all but one lane of East Dry Creek Road in Centennial Sunday afternoon, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.The crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. on East Dry Creek Road between South Yosemite Street and South Alton Way. A driver lost control of a vehicle and hit a parking garage, according to the sheriff’s office. The vehicle then burst into flames.The driver died, and a passenger who was in the vehicle was taken to a hospital. Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Ginger Delgado did not know the survivor’s condition Sunday. She also could not say whether investigators suspect the driver was intoxicated or speeding before the crash.Authorities closed all eastbound lanes of East Dry Creek Road and all but one lane of the westbound road between South Yosemite Street and South Alton Way.
